If you were one of the lucky ladies who snagged a ticket to our Fashion Feast, then you already know all about the fun times we had at the LOFT concept store opening at the Shops at Ithaca Mall on June 6. Hosted by former assistant editor Olivia Bitetti and sponsored by Romano Mazda, the event brought about 50 women who shopped and noshed the whole evening through. Caz Limo provided luxury limo buses for the trip, and the ladies shared wine and Brick House Café treats on the journey.
Upon arriving at LOFT, the party was greeted with sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and beverages courtesy of Simeon’s on the Commons, an upscale American bistro in Ithaca. The LOFT sales associates were on hand for everyone’s style needs. Bitetti highlighted her favorite pieces in the new summer collection with pink “Editor’s Picks” tags. Guests made great use of their $50 LOFT gift cards, as evidenced by the long fitting room and checkout lines and bags chock-full of warm-weather ensembles.
After the shopping spree, everyone piled back on the buses for the trip back to Syracuse. On the bus ride home, we raffled off 10 amazing prizes from local vendors. The proceeds of the raffle went to support the March of Dimes. If you couldn’t get a ticket to the Fashion Feast, don’t sweat it — there will be plenty more opportunities to have a blast with us. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for upcoming events such as our annual wine tour in September and the women’s expo coming in November.
